Why do people respond to me by saying political parties do not control gas prices. EVERYTIME there is an election, the price of gas comes down. WHY IS THAT? It went up the last few months of Clinton around 1.40, a month b4 the elections back down to around 1 dollar, REPUBLICANS in control of house and senate, Before the last election? down from around 1.70 to 1.90 to around 1.40 to 1.20, REPUBLICANS in charge, BUSH elected, Just 2 months ago 3.00 to 3.50 a gal. NOW below 2.00 dollars. REPUBLICANS in charge. YOUR crazy if you DON"T know they are in control of the prices.

Im mildly surprised that no one has yet blamed the Clinton Adminsitration for the sudden drop in gas prices and for influencing Mark Foley as well..........i mean WTH....the retardlicans fall back on that tactic whenever they cannot justify any of their other insidious corruption.

Iraq, Iran, It doesn't matter. anything that causes instability is an excuse even increased bidding from China, India Or Europe. The winter heating seasion is coming up so the major price gouging will switch to heating oil. Gas prices should stay a bit lower because the heating oil refining leaves gasoline slightly in surplus as a byproduct.

As soon as the election is over the prices will go up. Of course, they will say it's just coincidence even though the administration is doing better now because of lower prices. It's all politics and some people just won't believe it. I guess they still believe in Santa Clause too.

no the dummycrats will keep driving it up by forcing us to have commy venezuela refine are oil for us instead of making our own refineries. My father works for chevron, the U.S. needs 12 more refineries before it can support itself but dumbocraps wont allow it.... because they hate the U.S. just like their favorite people who they try to be just like in every way... the french

Yes

The price of gas is high because we've reached (or they fear we have reached) "Peak Oil" production. That is, they are having a harder and harder time finding more oil, but demand continues to rise.
