Whatever you do, don't buy anything related to Tennis. I used to work at a Country Club with a lot of Tennis Coaches and whenever they received gifts, they would always make jokes about the gifts related to tennis. They always seemed to enjoy bottles of wine or gift baskets with wine and cheeses.

Buy a large tennis ball toy that you can get at pet stores and have the whole team sign it. Maybe also frame a picture of the team or something else little.

If you can get ur hands on something from a famous Grand Slam like the NY grand slam towels or bag. Or get him a tennis t-shirt. some famous tennis brands are like sergio-tachini the famous ST. Or lacoste. Those are all fancy and nice. Or get him a nice nike hat a sweating band for the wrist or forehead. hope i gave u enough options.

If you're looking to spend a lot - you could get him tickets to the biggest year-end tournament in China, the Masters Cup featuring 8 of the best players. http://masters-cup.ticket2010.com/english/
Otherwise if not, I would go for something not related to tennis.
