the Pittsburgh Penguins are not giving a C to anybody this season it will be 3 A. What do you think about this move from Michel Therrien the head coach of the Pens no captain for the season just 3 assistant captains.

I think it's a good move. There's no one worthy of a C on Pittsburgh except Sidney Crosby. But he's too young and he doesn't have much experience yet. Next year, they'll probably name Crosby captain.

I thin k thats stupid, if any penguin deserves a C it would be Crosby of course, but he still young and needs to earn, Mark Rechi should wear the C, he has been around the longest and certainly deserves the respect in the locker room, not saying he doesnt already, but he's always been a penguin in my miond and what better way to end your career then to hand over the C to Crosby when he retires.

I like the idea. The Pens have 7 number one draft picks on their lineup. These guys need to step up to the plate and do a hell of alot better than last year. Let's see who really wants to be captain. Let's Go Pens!!!

I think it's a great move! As a coaching staff they don't feel anyone has what it takes to wear the C and instead of just giving it to someone they have chosen not to give it to anyone! I think that's awesome and says a lot about both the team and the coaching staff!!!!

I think it was fine for one season but this is the second season they have done that. After Mario had to leave last season they never named anyone. Every team needs a leader in the dressing room-ONE person to look to. I think they should name someone.

i think it's b/c they want to give crosby the c but are afraid the vet.'s will get pissed off. it should go to recchi though. that would make sense.
