arbonne Clear advantage ....I tried everything and nothing worked .. i tried proactive and accutane and retin a and so many others .. and nothing worked .. even microdermabration ... i was checking this site a friend of mine told me about and since they are botanically based i decided to try them .. really amazing .. in as little as 3 weeks i saw a huge difference ... my skin was clearing up ... they are formulatted without chemical and harsh ingredients ... their key ingredient is salycilic acid which is way much better than benzoyl peroxide which will overdry your skin ...

PLEASE READ THIS
okay now that i have your attention....
I have had bad acne for about 3 years. i went to the doctor and i tried 2 different prescription medicine but neither worked. i went back 4 days ago and she gave me clindoxyl. This is a prescription cream that you put on before bed. i have already noticed that the ance is slowly going away. it is about 40 a tube but you dont use very much. The only thing you would have to do is go to your doctor and ask him/her about this product. i find it to work very well. and it is well worth the money. With proactiv once you stop using it the ance comes back. Where as with this i think it will stay away and you will only get the odd pimple back. I hope this has helped you out.

If proactive doesn't work, and other over the counter products are too strong and cause irritation (Clearasil, stridex, etc.), go to a dermatologist. You might need to get a low dose prescription even if you don't think its that bad, Tetracycline (a pill) and Differen (a cream or gel) might be what your looking for.
Also drinking a lot of water and going organic (no soda, junk food, etc) for a day or two can make a world of a difference in your pores.
Best of Luck To you!

If you have health insurance, it will be cheapest to go see a dermatologist. He can recommend exactly what will work w/your skin. Proactive is a great product, but it usually stops working after a couple months. Depending on what type of acne you have and if you have dry or oily skin, a dermatologist can get you on exactly the right stuff, possibly a combination of an oral antibiotic and some topical antibiotics or retinoids. Also, if you have insurance, all these meds would be way cheap!

Yeah do not get Proactiv didn't work for me... I use Clearskin Anti-Bacterial Scrub from Avon, Clearskin Invisible Blemish Corrector (it's a spot treatment), and I used believe it or not it does work! You know the makeup brand Wet'N'Wild?

They have skin products which worked for me! it's called "Wet'N'Wild Fresh Face Skincare Acne" You should get the starter kit to see if it works for you and if it does once you run out you can get the big bottles...

Hope I helped ya! :D

When I was a teen ager to young adult, I am 38 now... I tried tons of stuff from the dermatologist, and nothing worked.....
I laughed when I finally figured it out.....Good Ole Pure White Dove Soap and washing gently with soft washcloths, never scrub your face hard...
My acne went away and has stayed away

I think now they have those Dove Facial Cloths that come in the reclosable box - they are wonderful, and I am thrifty, so I actually cut each of the cloths in half, cause I find that half of one has enough soap, and enough cloth to clean my face great...
TrY it , you might be suprised,
And use a moisturizer, that has NO fragrance, Color. etc...Dove makes a good one that has SPF in it too.
Hope this helps,
Raven

any kind of steroid cream. you have to get a prescription, but believe me, I have flare ups all the time and it works everytime. although, docs are not thrilled about giving it to you cause your skin gets addicted to it. if you stay on steroid creams for a long period of time, your skin will be come like tissue paper and just wiping your face with a towel will hurt. so be careful. oh and I"m also on an antiobiotic. I would contact your dermatologist, they are the best at this!

if you just get a few zits and not a massive whole faec breakout i like the clean and clear blemish remover. it's sacylic acid in a tube, and you put it on..and it works great. i had a huuuuge zit the day before my grandparents anniversary. slapped some of that on there, and it was a small skin colored bump the next day. it's about 6 bucks at walmart, and it works great!!
