Boric acid , it is very effective when used properly for killing
cockroaches and most other insects.

I don't know but we had them here a couple of yrs. ago. They were shaped lie a cantalope seed and they were everywhere. this year we didn't get them. don't have a clue but, I didn't like them...glad they're gone.
