His punishment should be restoration to the Presidency of Iraq. After Bush has destroyed Saddam's country, the effort at putting it back together would be torturous.

Bush did to Iraq what Osama bin Laden could only fantasize about. Saddam's Iraq was secular, where women could be anything they aspired to. The current Iraq is heading swiftly towards an Islamic theocracy, like Iran. "Mission Accomplished," eh?

Even though I do not believe most of what is reported in news,
I have seen enough to realize Saddam is an intensely evil man.
An "iron ruler" of people will have to do something atrocious sooner or later. I definitely think Saddam is guilty of crimes for which only death-as-punishment is acceptable.

The Nuremberg style, hanging, seems like a good precedent to follow.

At the very least, Saddam could have condemmed the terrible things that have happened to officers of the court and their families. This lack of remorse can only be taken as endorsement of the actions of murderers. This in itself, is convincing.

HANG SADDAM BY THE NECK UNTIL DEAD.

He is guilty without a shadow of a doubt, and he deserves to be hanged for his crimes. I hope the rope is coated in some type of irritating substance so his death is excruciating.
