good point! why we still eat meat when there are a lot of alternatives (like vegetables)? sometimes i feel we are still savages who pretend to be civilized!

it depends if I was on an island & the only thing to eat was an endangered animal then yes but if I was just to eat then I would say no

If I was starving in the middle of a nowhere.Either me or the animal, and I will not become extinct. However, under normal circumstance I wouldn't.

God gave all animals except those he labeled as unclean, as food. The killing of animals as sport was never his intention, and is sin.
If your hungry, and there is sustenance before you, it was provided by God.
If you have plenty, and kill for sport, you are sinning.
