i had my iud removed on september 5th 2006. i started my period on the 10th of sept. i usually have a normal 28 day cycle. i bled for 10 days. on the 22nd-25th my husband and i tried to get pregnant. my temp was up on these days. on sept 28th i cramped like pulling or tugging for 20 minutes. i went to the rest room and there was some spotting bright pink. after that nothing else no bleeding or spotting, some minor cramping pulling, but dull. last night october 2nd i took a home pregnancy test and it had a faint positive sign. went to drug store purchase early response and it too showed a faint positive sign. o.k. my question is do you think i am pregnant and if not when is the appropiate time to test? thank you confused!

Usually you should wait for at least 14 days, the early response tests are ususually for a normal cycle but can still be wrong, You should try testing again over the weekend, since after sex you cramped and spotted that can be normal after having sex after a period, it doesn't exactly mean your pregnant. Try testing over the weekend and if it's still showing a faint positive sign call your doctor and have them run a blood test as well just to be 100% sure. Some home pregnancy tests can give a false reading due to high hormone level or lack of. It's always best to have a test done by your doctor if your not sure.

Well my obgyn told me that, even if it is faint. You are more then likely pregnant. There is no such thing as a false positive, only a false negative. Give it another week take another test. If it does the same thing. call your GYN and get in asap. Good Luck!!

You could be pregnant, but sometimes these tests show false positive. You really ought to go to get a blood test, they are more accurate and are more reliable. If you want to test again, wait another week, you will be sure then. Good Luck!!

Test again in a few days but a faint line is still a line so congrats you are most likely pregnant. But test again just in case♥

i would buy one of those digital pregnancy tests they are not that spendy at that way you get in there right in front of you saying pregnant or not pregnant i use these ones all the time and then there is no second guessing if you are or arn't good luck and the best time to test if you are going to test early is in the morning right after you wake up

yes. most of those tests do work and if you have 2 positives even though it is faint then you are pregnant. I would get an appointment with a gynocologyst right away!! and take your prenatal vitamins!!!

It's possible! Probably u got pregnant just before ur period came or right after u'v finished it.
