1, Power pitchers = excitement / strike outs
2.Ryan is not more famous for his time with the Rangers. You must be from Dallas. Ryan's best years were with the Angels and then the Astros.

Nolan Ryan was the greatest strike-out pitcher ever. However, he never won a Cy Young award and for the most part was not one of the best pitchers in the league at any time during his playing days. He had amazing longevity and durability. He was so exciting because he had the ability to be all but untouchable. His strike outs made him exciting but Greg Maddux would be much more likely to get you a win.

He brought excitement because he is the greatest strike out pitcher of all time. He holds the record for most no-hitters. The guy at times was unhittable. I don't think his most famous era was with the Rangers. Many people will remember that for his no hitter against the A's when he struck out Ricky Henderson fo the last out. His most famous era was with the Astros.

I once saw Ryan pitch a guy inside, or nick him with a fastball. The guy unwittingly charged the mound. HUGE mistake. Ryan went mid evil on him when he ran for him. Ryan was, without a doubt, one of the best and toughest pitchers of his time. The amount of no-hitters this guy threw is astounding. It was like watching Billy Wagner throw a 9 inning game. His best days were spent with the Astros and Angels, in my opinion.

His excitment was his ability to strike out so many players and easily with power and yet good accuracy. His no-hitters also gave a great excitment that surronded him. He was most famous with the Houston Astros and not the Rangers.

Nolan Ryan was the best strikeout pitcher I ever saw. When he was on, it was light's out for his opponent. Hitters couldn't touch him. He was on alot of teams, I think he hit his stride with the Astros.

Nolan Ryan is retired so he doesn't bring anything to the game anymore...
As far as the "evidence" you seek, I believe the police found a blood spattered jacket and a crumpled cigarette pack at the scene of the crime... they will see if the jacket fits the defendant during the trial... "If it doesn't fit, you MUST acquit!!!"...
Here's one for you... Who is also on Nolan Ryan's rookie card???
