I'm going to say the three best concerts I have been to were Tears For Fears, Inxs, and Bryan Adams. I've seen each of these acts multiple times and they never disappoint me.
Honorable mentions to Bruce Springsteen, Genesis, Rush, the Allman Brothers Band, Mike + The Mechanics, Billy Joel.

I agree that Simply Red are awesome live. Best singer was Michael Jackson, the set up and costumes were great.

ive seen them twice at manchester in 99 and 05 and they put on a proper show both times ive seen loads of pop bands in concert but none have been better than the Backstreet Boys

The first concert I went to was Golden Earring and Lynard Skynard - just before the plane crash. I would say the best concert I have been to was Be Bop Deluxe.

the best live performance I've seen must be muse, but in the end, no matter how good the band is, it all depends on the venue and the people you go with.
It won't be much fun seeing the best band in the world and standing squashed up against a wall humming the songs to yourself...
