Simple...When you come home. shower her with the attention she has missed all week. Take her out if she wants. A gift is nice but think of what she likes. I bet it will be just to have your company. I think When my husband is gone and then comes home only to turn on the television, watch football and expect to be catered to is one of the most hurtful things after I have spent so much time waiting on him to come home.

I have been married for 25 years to the best husband in the world. He drove an 18 wheeler for 19 of those 25 years and the best thing he could bring me to show me how much he missed me was himself. I was thrilled to just see him walk in the door and know he was safe.

What a concidence- my husband left on sunday night and will be back on the weekend, I really don't care for any gifts I really just would like to hear him tell me how much he loves me and that he missed me (while in bed- hugging/kissing me).

Maybe a card (missing you) and some flowers. A nice warm greeting when you arrive. Good luck!
