No idea, its not like she can afford to get 1000 more new ones...I say every one in the audience gets a chance to jump on that thing.

What isn't wrong with jumping on Oprah's couch?

Do your guests often jump on your furniture? I would frown upon it, myself. I think that there was so much hype about the incident because it was just on of many bizarre things in a string of really bad decisions made on the part of Tom Cruise. I think it is wonderful that he feels so deeply in love with Katie Holmes, but one would expect a bit of reservation from someone who insults Matt Lauer, Brooke Shields, and countless others on national television in recent months.

The couch jumping would have been much less noticed had it been someone else doing the jumping.

I personally got a big kick out of watching Tom Cruise jump on Oprah's couch. The fun was in watching someone so full of ebullient joy that he couldn't seem to repress himself.
- Perhaps that's the key to understanding why some felt he was out of line. We seem to live in a repressed society where exhuberant outburts are not acceptable, especially from adults. Pity.

Nothing if you're the average Joe, But celebrities need to think ahead of the game, because there are too many people just waiting to discredit, besmirch, drag Celeb's sorry behinds in the mud for profit, & odd behavior for celebrities become gossip fodder for those who have no life & get off boosting their egos by hurting others even if its with words. Tom should've kept his private life quiet, even if he wanted to shout it out to the world. He walked right into the lions den & now he has to live with all the crap that comes his way.

You must be referring to when Tom Cruise jumped on her couch? it didn't really bother me - between the two of them they can probably do just about whatever they choose to do! However, I have never thought TC was all that! and he's short too! She can have him - or, I guess, she already did! Whatever! is my opinion!

Nothing, except Oprah HAS a boyfriend already

Maybe she would let me just go there and chill. I would cook for her too.
