I know this sounds bad but the doctor told me to use a cotton ball and put on mens after shave. It really works and if you get the unscented kind you don't have to worry about smelling like a dude. It worked wonders on me and my legs are terrible for getting razor burn all over. ♥ It does sting slightly for about 30 seconds but worth it. It hurts worse if you cut yourself or something♥

Exfoliate before you shave and give yourself time in the shower for your pores to open up. Make sure your razor is clean and not dull. Most shaving irritations are from eith ingrown hairs or mild infections in your hair follicles.

it's razor burn, next time you shave make sure you have a new sharp razor, a dull one will make it worse...when you get razor burn you should wait until it has healed before shaving that area again. shaving over the bumps will just irritate it further. Use a good lotion, preferable organic coca butter with jojoba oil before and after shaving and make sure you have a good shave gel while shaving...good luck!

Take a hot bath or shower, never ever ever shave when your cold, Goosebumps! Ouch!

And Exfoliate, it will get rid of your dead skin cells. Use a loofah or washrag.

Don't forget shaving cream, and apply lotion when you are done.

It could possibly be your razors? Are you using disposables? That could be your problem. Also, I ALWAYS shave using conditioner. Just plain hair conditioner. Works great, leaving no razor burns or irritations. Try it!

shaving hair is cutting off hair close to skin, it removes some skin in the process. Try a lotion after? Alloy?

You need to use shaving cream, don't use regular soap and make sure you wash it all off once you are done shaving.
