A few days ago, I "went off" on a drive thru fast food worker for not giving me a napkin or ketchup for my fries. I get so mad, I start to scream, and my hands start to shake. Sometimes, I do the same on the road when someone idiot driver cuts me off. Also, I started to yell at the receptionist at the eye doctor's becasue she said I couldn't have my appointment becasue I was 15 minutes late.I never physically hurt anyone and don't plan to...I just want to have the last word. Am I yelling at people that I know can't yell back?

After I yell at people or "make an anger scene," I feel guilty and embarressed a little while later.

I think seeing a therapist is a good idea. If this is a new reaction for you, then you may also consider seeing you doctor. It seems to bother you alot and I wonder if you are finding yourself out of control in other ways such as spending, drinking, flirting etc. If so there could be more going on that warrants a look by you with someone you trust to see what is going on in your life now.

I think that you should just try to be more concious of what you are doing and saying. If this does not work you should try to talk to a therapist or counsler so that they can tell you whether or not you need to take a sort of medication.
I am pretty sure that it might just be the fact that people are always asking you to do things and putting so much pressure on you. People are always bugging you about something and you might just take it out on someone else that you dont know because you know that they cant do anything to you.

Sounds like you may need an anger management class! We all experience anger, but how we deal with it is important. It sounds as if you are young, and still need to learn, That could be from a class a book or a therapist, which is your choice? Be sure to do something about it, and soon you will be at peace with yourself .

You should see a therapist. It sounds like there is something deeper inside that angers you and a therapist will help pull it out and get to the root of it all. You will feel more relaxed. You could just be super stressed out. Take some time out for you.

You don't need a therapist to tell you that what you are doing is wrong. You need control your anger by yourself. Next time you want to "go off" on someone put yourself in their position, and you may not like it. And,another thing, you may go off on someone that can't yell back right then, but you may see them somewhere that they can yell and more.

See a therapist, but when you really do get angry, try to control yourself. Hold it in until you are somewhere private. You'll be even angrier, so you can just scream it out, cry it out, jump it out, whatever. Just don't hurt anyone.
