It's the Democrats who don't find that behavior repugnant in any way, shape, matter or form. This is not about protecting the children as far as they're concerned: this is a strategic attack, timed during an election and the Republicans don't have to sit there and take it!

On one hand - I agree with you....the fact that a pedophile in Congress happened to be a Republican is a non-issue. Pedophiles come from all political persuasions.
However - yoru contention that Democrats have "condoned" this kind of behavior is utterly absurd. The idea that somehow Democrats think it's OK to molest little boys is absolutely ridiculous and you should really be above that.
If you want to battle Democrats on the ISSUES - that's fine & dandy. But to say that Dems are pro-child molestation is completely untrue.
I want the Dems to win in November because Dems have a better philosophy than Reps....and have 90% of the people's interests at heart, while Reps. are really only concerned with about 10% of the people.
The GOP is the attacking party - and they do it via media pitbulls such as Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, FOX News....the Democrats have no such equivalent attacking machine.
And - by the way - the call for Speaker Hastert to resign came from the WASHINGTON TIMES........a known CONSERVATIVE newspaper. So get your facts straight before you spew absolute nonsense.

By the way, what was the name of the other congressman who was censured at the same time as Studds? I'll give you a couple of hints. He was a former school teacher and he was not a democrat.

this is terrible, and we should go after those involved. If Hastert and co. knew, then they should be removed. But yeah, I know what you're saying. The Dems are by far the more pervereted bunch over there.
