probably a blocked salivary gland. Use antibacterial mouthwash daily, it should resolve by itself.

You should have a medical person check it out if its not a canker sore. If its bigger than the tip of a dull crayon. Not positive but it could be oral cancer, most likely not but its better to be safe than sorry. Also if it doesnt go away for a while that could be another sign. I'd give it a couple days.

I had a hyogenic granuloma once. it was on my tongue, but they can grow anywhere. what is was, was scar tissue that had puffed up. it had a ton of little blood vessels in it, as well as roots. i tried topical medicine but it would only temporarily shrink it. i ended up having minor surgery (done in the doc's office) to remove it. that was like, 6 years ago and i've not had a problem since. that could be your problem but it might not. i would go to my family doc and see if he recommends you go to a dentist, oral surgeon, or ear nose throat specialist (that was who did the surgery).

Sometimes I get those, they end up going away, maybe something scratched you and got irrittated or you might be alergic to something. I would call an advice nurse and get their oppinion. If its red and oozzy or gets bigger go to the doc ASAP!

Those are your saliva ducts. They can become blocked occasionally - I had that happen the other day.

Oh my gosh, it is the dreaded "Bubblegum" mouth wart.
There is no cure, unless you contact an oral surgeon.
