Only you can answer that. I mean different factors come in to play. Why is he going? For how long? Is he guilty of a serious crime? Are you willing to wait and how long? I mean you are the only person that knows how well you can cope and if this is something that you can survive. BTW I would be more concerned with the way he is going to cope with prison life than how I am going to cope without him.

If he is going to jail, he must have done something bad. Why would you want to be with someone like that?! When he gets out of prison, it will follow him for the rest of his life. He will have trouble finding a good paying job or even finding a job period. Have you thought that when he gets out he may be worse than he is now if he doesn't want to be "rehabilitated". He may be meaner, stronger, more hardened as a criminal. I wouldn't stick around to see what happens. When he goes, send him a letter, a goodbye letter, and MOVE AWAY. Start your life over and move on.

u will be ok but will your relationship with him survive how long has he got in prison can u cope if not can i say get someone else for a bit of fun he does not have to know and if u cant do that u will find out how strong u are

You can cope, just get yourself a BOB (battery operated boyfriend). If you love this guy, wait for him, everyone makes mistakes he just happened to get caught. Alot of women dont know how to stick by there man, turn the tables and what if it was you going in!

That's up to you, he's made his choices so you have to do what's right for you. Don't promise him (or yourself) anything you may not stick to. Don't put your life on hold- you're not the one inside and he has no right to expect you to.
