Seeing as this will be your last year to trick or treat, be a belly dancer, or a naughty nurse or maid. Meaning you will have to wear fish net stockings and high heels but that should be okay seeing you're 14. Have fun and experiment! Don't go for silly and preteen stuff! :)

Maybe one of the attractive superhero movie women people know from the movies? Elektra comes to mind -- Jennifer Garner's character. Or the Invisible Girl (Jessica Alba's character from Fantastic Four). Both of these options would be cute and a little bit sexy, but not over the top for someone your age.
Another option is Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter movies.

whoa sweetie @ the pole dancer idea.... Hun I know u dont want adults telling you but u know what.. Halloween is hard for all kids.. they want to participate in the fun ... There is nothing wrong with impersonating somethin u believe in.... Such as .. if u want to be a teacher.. dresin like on... or a farmer or a doctor.. nurse so on.. But the day is no different than any other in the fact that if u dress like a whore.. tomorrow they will remember that.... I say u can do somethin funny but please do not go as somethin ur mom would not let u wear the next day too.... its hard with everybody else being slutty vampires.. slutty teachers slutty librarian slutty nurse slutty slutty slutty.... give it up....

Be a gypsy and tell people's fortunes. Easy costume: gauzy skirt, big flowy sleeved top, lots of cheap jewelry, some scarves. Take a set of fortune telling cards (there are ones that are easier than tarot cards to use). Or read their palms...It's a good way to talk to a lot of people.
