What would you do if you were President?

Incarcerate George Bush, Dick Cheny and the entire Bush cabinet whilst having them investigated for criminal behavior whilst in office. Then I'd order Halliburton investigated for fraud and war profiteering.
Then I'd remove all our troops from Iraq, reconstitute the special ops team that was supposed to nail bin Laden and give that team whatever it takes to do it. Then I'd order all commercial logging and mining on state land halted while new enviromental impact studies are done. Then I'd begin fining, and fining harshly, ANY and ALL American manufacturers who export jobs and keep doing it until they stopped. I would demand a reasonable plan to provide ALL citizens with health insurance. I would then demand that pharmaceutical companies cut their prices in half. I would end tax breaks for the wealthy and tax churches. I would order that all public schools be fully funded and that local control over curriculum be abolished.

And then I'd begin my second hour as President!!!!!!!!!!!

First I would investigate the entire congress and get rid of the ones that our breaking the law or involved in unethical behavior.

Then I would make congress get off there butts and actually do something in a reasonable time.

I would take away all there BS perks and benefits and align them more to what other government servants get, like our military

I would make sure that they actually read the laws that they are signing.

I would fix the immigration policy. Deport all illegals, they would have to apply to come back in. stop birthright citizenship-at least 1 parent has to be a actual citizen.
No welfare benefits for the first 5 years. Close the borders all with walls, fences, hire more border patrol. Set a quota let x amount of people in a year then the borders our closed until the next year. Prosecute companies that hire illegals.

The war in Iraq- we are there know so we cant just up and leave, but I do think giving Iraq a reasonable amount of time to get there act together and we are leaving or else.
Properly outfit our soldiers.

Taxes
Cut all these brakes for big business, help the middle class,
so something to stop this out of control tax hikes. Help to stop foreclosures

Economy
Stop so much outsourcing- stop rewarding companies for outsourcing. promote US made products. help small business stay afloat.

Education
Our educational system Sucks. totally overhaul it, get rid of this teaching for proficiency test BS. teach what they used to teach 20 30 years ago we were a hell of a lot smarter. no passing just to pass without extenuating circumstances. Demand respect in the schools shore up dress codes. better background checks on teachers, not just firing a teacher for abuse reporting them.
Make school funding more uniform and not just based on property taxes. Demand better fiscal control of the schools there is out od control spending.

Healthcare
Is a mess to, Not some sort of socialized medicine. control out of control cost especially drugs.

Cancel all broken programs and repair the last eight years. What an idiot we have there now, lets support all who wont to support his stupidity any further. Getting rid of the CIA and all those other intelligence agencies that seek to keep the status quo rather than protect freedom. What a wasteful government, making fake spies. Increase educational and transportation benifits for amaricans, not foreigners. And make more Holidays. We don't have enough federal time off.

Call in President Bush and hire him as my vice president and then take a more firm action in the middle east by taking over there government and teaching all of them the right way to live so they dont hurt anymore people and if it continued i would continue the bombing.

I would stop wasting time and needlessly endangering our troops by going door to door through hostile neighborhoods in Iraq. Instead, I would bomb them to dust.
I would stop wasting time waiting for the international community to bring Iran into compliance. I would bomb their research facilities into dust. (Some say this would only take them two years to rebuild from. I would bomb them every two years then!)
I wouldn't build a wall on the border, but I would place 25k troops on it. That would do the job without ruining the scenery. I would hunt down and kill gang bangers within our borders. This will allow poor neighborhoods to bounce back and become productive as any other neighborhoods in the country.
Except for disaster relief (earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis etc...) I would cancel ALL foreign aid and spend that money on American infrastructure and American citizens.

This is one of the toughest jobs in the world no matter what party you are with.

I would absolutely get out of DC and talk to the people. Real people, not politicians.

On a personal note, I would balance the budget (not the phoney balanced budgets we've seen in the past). Finally, I'd let you tell me where 10% of your tax dollars should be spent.
