I detest Wal*Mart.
I hate the way they treat their employees. I have this from reliable sources.
I hate the way they try to run small business out of the areas. I also have this from reliable sources.
I hate their produce and meat. My friend and her family got sick on some deli ham they bought there. And the produce looked like it came out of the dumpster out back.
They are usually un-organized, dirty, and their employees on the whole slovenly and none too bright. If you work there don't take it personally because I don't know you.
I I have only been there a few times (at several locations) and each time it was NOT my choice to be there.
They may be cheap but at what cost to the American consumer or more importantly the American worker?
Yuck to Wal*mart!

I do not hate them, but I do resent the fact that they (and other big chains) have nearly exterminated the small local stores. Even Toys R Us near me has closed due to competition from Wal-Mart and Target.
LIfe is too short to hate. Besides, Wal-Marts make inviting targets fer piracy on land!

You can go to Wal-Mart at 3 in the morning and the lines are still long.
Parking is absurd.
A lot of their cashiers are lazy and can't count to 10.
EDIT: They are getting rid of layaway??!! WHAT?!

waiting in those long a** lines. why are there like 30 lanes to check out on, but only 5 are open at any given time. come on, it's not like wal-mart can't afford to hire some more people. sounds like greed to me.

They, and I mean the unwashed, riff raff, loud, child beating, underemployed masses, shop there. They are the reason I don't shop there. You ever see 300 pounds of fat stuffed into a size 12 pair of carpis? Not a pretty sight. I give my girl friend a couple of hundred bucks, drop her off, got to the bar for a while, then pick her up. Best kind of shopping. Plus my wife never shops there.

that it exists and refuses (until recently) to give the workers benefits. That they hire (and prolly take advantage of) illegal immigrants. ummm that the Wal*Mart brand stuff is NOT made in the US. ummm all the sexual harrassment suites filed against them. that approximately 70% of workers in the entire company are females and only 13% or even less are in the cooperate division. do you WANT me to go on....

I love everything about Wal-Mart! Cheaper prescriptions than other places, lower food prices at the Supercenters and large selection of name brand products - at lowest prices anywhere! What MORON wouldn't like those things!

Oh my. The absolute worst? Hmmm... we call the one close to us the GhettoMart because of the quality of people who shop there. I almost came to blows with a woman who wouldn't take her hands off of the toaster oven in my cart. She kept asking "which aisle did you get it in" and when I'd turn and point, she'd start lifting the box.
At that one, it's the customers. They're ignorant and quickly take offense. My husband had an issue with someone because he moved a cart that was in the middle of the aisle and no one at all was around. He moved it to the side and all of a sudden this crazy woman came out of nowhere shouting at him to get his hands off of her cart. (There was no purse or anything personal in it.) He softly said he was just moving it to get by. She yelled at him saying "it's my cart, not yours... if you have to get by, you WALK AAA ROUND to the next aisle." That was right about when I stepped in...she was nuts.
So yeah, the customers at this particular Walmart

customer service...they put some old man or mentally challenged woman at the entrance to say hello and give you the fake sense that they care about you as a customer. But just try and find someone to help you in the back of the store, forget it, you are on your own.
