First of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, but don't write off infertility just yet. It's possible to become "infertile" after having a child. I have a couple of friends who are TTC and have at least 1 child already. They're having trouble as well. There are many factors that can hinder you from becoming pregnant (blocked fallopian tube(s), not ovulating regularly, stress, lack of exercise, lack of sleep, not eating right, etc). If you talk to your doctor about this, he/she can run some tests on you to see if there is anything physically wrong.
Just to give you some hope, my mom was TTC for 6 years and miscarried. She had my brother after, another miscarriage, two more of my brothers were born (one last miscarriage) and me. This is a really hard thing to go through, but don't lose hope; it'll happen. I was TTC for 4 years with no pregnancies at all. I was going through infertility treatments all last year and was diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis. It was hard to keep the hope alive, but I never lost it (I was close though). Needless to say, I am 22 weeks pregnant and expecting a baby boy.
Good luck to you!

We have been ttc for nearly 3 years and had 1 miscarriage after the first year of trying. We have recently discovered that my husband has a low sperm count. My advice is do not wait to start getting these tests done. After 1 year it is totally acceptable to begin testing. The average woman will get pregnant after 4 months of trying. Talk to you dr and get those tests (yours and his) started. Just because you did get pregnant once does not mean there isn't a problem. We are proof positive. The sooner you find it, the sooner you can fix it. Good luck!!

You need to make a appointment with a Fertility Specialist. He/She will run a number of tests on you and your partner to determine the reason behind your infertility. There are a number of reasons behind infertility. You could have trouble ovulating; you could have blocked tubes; your partner could have low sperm count; you could have endometeriosis (like me), etc. I found that knowing the reason why I wasn't conceiving made each month and each period a little easier to handle.
Call and make your appointment today because it can take up to 3 months to get an appointment. Also check with your insurance carrier before your appointment. You will be surprised what they will cover if you get yourself pre-qualified for the treatment. Good Luck!!!!

I just want to emphasize that it's not neccessarily you with the problem. My husband has a healthy teenager from a previous relationship but when we found it difficult to conceive and we had fertility tests done it turned out that my husband now has a low sperm count and I'm fine. Things can change for any of you without any real explaination unfortunately. You both should look into getting some basic fertility tests done. Good luck. I hope everything turns out ok.

Consult your GP, infertility is a wide spectrum, it could be anything from just not having sex at the right time to low sperm count, blocked tubes or stress etc etc.
To boost your chances cut out smoking and too much caffeine. Eat healthly, excercise and relax.
Your GP should be able to run some tests on you or refer you to a specialist. Good Luck :)

I would suggest looking into herbs or something natural to make your uterus stronger, if you've had a miscarriage (sorry to hear that) that means you are able to get pregnant you probably just have a weak uterus. So write off infertility because you are able to get pregnant.
I've been trying for a few years and have not been able to get pregnant yet, but I have faith that it will happen.
