Of course they won't. Those idiots still think were in a recession.

The Dow is not (repeat: NOT) an indicator of the economy.
The GDP is...and that is the benchmark that the Federal Reserve uses to gage interest rates (and I suspect even YOU know about interest rates).
The Fed meets later this month.
They will either hold the rate as is or lower it.
Either way, THAT is a sign of the state of our economy.
If (and that is a really big "if") the Fed RAISES the rate, then I'll concede I'm wrong and you are right.
But for now, don't gloat...the economy still sucks, there are a lot of poor, starving and jobless Americans out there.

No, no, no! Don't you understand yet that Bush=bad always? It was evil greedy Bush, the Hitler-halliburton-moron warmonger-bigoil-puppet, who was responsible for the raise in gas prices for his evil rich oil buddies. But the drop in prices is solely for the election in a conniving scheme.
Obviously you are limiting you ability to see the truth by talking about production capacity, the oil futures market, etc.

No liberal will ever thank Bush... and there is no need to. Do you all really think that the dow is related to his running of the country?? O.. I also guess you think that he's responsible for the drop in oil prices... YET he's the reason they increased in the first place w/the war .... so my REAL answer to your question is... WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should since they Blamed him when things were going the other direction. The problem is that these morons who think the President controls the gas prices actually have the right to vote. Shouldn't there be a literacy test or a basic civics test to earn the right to vote? You have to pass one for citizenship, why not make it mandatory for voting?

No, if he had anything to do with it, it would only be a ploy to say, see what we, the Republicans, did?? Well, my question is why they didn't do it last year when gas prices were up to $4 a gallon??

I am a liberal person. I never blamed the president when the prices of anything rose. It stands to reason then that I would fail to thank him when prices lowered. No. I haven't thanked him "yet".

They haven't and they never will. They have deluded themselves into believing it is just an adjustment before election day that will disappear as soon as the elections are over.
The only way I see that happening is if we go to war against Iran.
