i love a line clled arbonne .. they have 2 skin care lines for women one is from 12-23 and the other is from 20-over ... the best thing is that they are botanically based .... they have a line called nutriminc RE9 eye cream which i love, it clears the area under the eyes and it moisturizes it to avoid the lines to get deeper ... Dark circles can be caused by sun damage, veins and capillaries that show through skin, irritation, and the natural dark pigment that can occur in this area. They can also be a result of natural shadows that fall within the eye area, making that area appear darker. Plus, dark circles can be a result of dry skin making the area look dull and tired. Remember that Skin follows a biological timeline, by decades of life. During your 20s and 30s, the first wrinkles start to appear and skin becomes less resistant as elasticity declines and gravity begins to take hold. In your 40s and 50s, repetitive movements form the first permanent wrinkles as genetics, gravity and a decrease in collagen and elastin cause skin and muscle to sag. check them out ... you have nothing to loose only dark circles and some fine lines ;~)

Just because you have fine lines and dark circles at 21 doesnt mean youre having symptoms of a 40/50 yr old in response to an answer above. You are prob just the normal college student lacking in sleep and nutrition. I do agree that fruits and veggies and water help. I have dark circles and a few little lines and im 23. had them for a couple yrs. Its lack of sleep and stress. Also if you are in the sun a lot and dont use a moisturizer thats a lot of the problem with the lines. I used to lay out a lot and I dont really use moisturizer bc it breaks me out. So you dont have any weird problem....just need to be more aware of the causes : )

I have the same problem as you, I'm 22 and have always had dark circles under my eyes, I think it's hereditary. I had read about Murad's Lighten and Brighten Eye Treatment (http://www.murad.com/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?section=10294&item=27504&minisite=10020) in Allure magazine, and after talking to a Murad representative, I decided to try it out. It turns out that many major women's magazine recommend the product as well. I began using it about 3 weeks ago and I feel that I've definitely noticed a difference. As for an eye cream that has spf, Murad has another eye cream for that purpose (http://www.murad.com/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?section=10295&item=12204&minisite=10020). When I had the appointment with the Murad representative, she put the Lighten and Brighten on and then layered the spf eye cream on top of that. I personally use Dermalogica's Total Eye Care spf 15 (http://dermalogica.com/default2.asp?region=?&location=?) and I'm pretty happy with that. But I would stick with all Murad if you like products from one brand. Most spf eye creams I know only diffuse the appearance of dark circles but don't reduce it, your best bet is to buy 2 different products for your 2 different concerns. Murad products are a little bit pricey, but they're well worth it. (http://www.medispastore.com/) This site gives discounts on beauty products, sometimes 10%, sometimes 15% and even 20% off. Good luck :)

If you are 21 & have problems of a 40 -50 year old, you need to work on your nutrition more...work on the problem not just treat the symptoms. You need to drink lots more water. More veggies & fresh fruits...stay away from alcohol & Mickey Dees & junk food.

I use a neutrogena facial moisturizer with spf15. You may find some neutrogena product. You may use a concealer for your dark circles.
