I liked Ray Combs (HATED Richard Dawson), but think Richard Karn did the best job!

It just goes to show that everyone has his/her own preferences....
But...the question is WHY is Karns gone from Family Feud?

Oh, gosh...I forgot about Louie Anderson. I take back what I said about Richard Dawson...Louie Anderson was THE WORST host on Family Feud!!!
And I AM a fan of John O'Hurley...but just not on this game show. He doesn't seem relaxed enough. Wasn't he also the host of a short-lived new version of "To Tell The Truth"?

Karn was on for five years. The ratings were sagging and getting worse. It is the 30th anniversary of the show this season. The producers, Freemantle had worked with John for a few seasons when he hosted their show To Tell The Truth. He is charming, urbane and witty and has decades of hosting experience. They let Richard go and brought in John. He rates very high with women and women make up the majority of game show viewers. They revamped the show set, the audience seating and brought back some of the features from the show with Dawson and changed the theme song. I think John has relaxed much more than from the first week or so. He is doing a wonderful job. He is a very talented guy and I am really enjoying the new edgier questions too. Frankly, John has brought back some class to the show that Karn never could pull off.

I loved Richard Dawson, somewhat liked Ray Combs, and Richard Karns!! This is something new that I am hearing about John O'Hurley, and I just love John to death!!!!

i don't know why but richard karn was hands down, the worst person ever to host that show. john o'hurley is awesome, but no one will ever beat ray combs!

Richard karn, was the worst host of family feud, He took forever to reveal the answers, always putting in his stupid comments, that were not even funny. I could not stand him and i would just change the channel. This man was annoying. At least if he was funny, i would tolerate his jokes, but they were just lame stupid jokes. Were did they get this moron? And to think that he was on for 5 years, makes me quiver.
