I feel really bad. I have a headache, my boobs hurt, i'm light-headed, and im really nascaues(sorry i dont know how to spell that). Also, im really sleepy, but cant sleep when i lay down, and im peeing alot more. i think i might be pregnant, but im not sure how likely that is since i take my birth control pills faithfully everyday at the same time. Can someone help? its too early to test for pregnancy, but will taking the pill affect the baby if i am pregnant? Please help!

Yes, you could be pregnant, but just because you have several symptoms of pregnancy, doesn't have to mean that they are all adding up to the same thing. In order for a pregnancy test to be accurate, you really need to wait until you have missed at least 1 or 2 days of your period. I don't care what the boxes say!!! False negatives are common! False positives are not! On the other hand, you could have several different problems such as: menstral hormones causing your boobs to hurt (I get sensitive breasts around two weeks before my period), a urinary tract infection causing you to pee often, etc. How much sugar do you consume? If you eat or drink alot of sugar, it could give you a headache, causing you to be light-headed at times, and give you a UTI (urinary tract infection). If the sugar comes in sodas, the caffeine could be keeping you awake, or cause insomnia, which is where you are really tired, but have problems acutally falling asleep. End of lecture- Wait til your period and find out whether or not you are pregnant. If you are not, then see a doctor and take him/her a list of your symptoms.

Sounds like your pregnant to me! Even though you take the pill like you are supposed to it can still happen evidentley you were meant to be a mom if that is the case. If I were you I would take a couple home tests in a week or two and if they are negative get a blood test done. And no the birth control pill won't hurt the baby its just a few extra hormones.

It does sound like you're pregnant - lots of things can stop your pill from working properly even if you take it faithfully. Grapefruit, certain medications, antibiotics, antifungals, laxatives, vomiting or diarrhea, St John's Wort, can all affect the absorbtion of your pill and lead to pregnancy.
If you are having those symptoms then its probably not to early to test. Some of them can detect pregnancy just a week after conception.

Some birth control pills mock the symptoms of pregnancy. One way to be sure, take a test!

Why don't you just go to a doctor?
