For a listing of stamp dealers in your area, go to http://www.stamps.org/directories/dir_dealermembers.htm and enter your location in the second section. There are 24 dealers listed in North Carolina, so I did not want to copy the entire list here.

Be aware that a dealer will only pay the WHOLESALE price of your stamps. He has to be able to resell at a profit or go out of business. And since he may have to hold onto the stamps for some time before selling, the markup has to be fairly steep. And you must also understand that not all very old stamps are rare. It is possible to buy many stamps that are over 150 years old for less than a dollar!

Good luck - but maybe you should just start collecting. It's fun!

Oh, a good general article on selling stamps can be found at http://www.virtualstampclub.com/inherit.html - I highly recommend reading it before you try to find a buyer.
