i used to dress up as something crazy every year i was a kid. my fav costume of all time was when i went as a Mcdonalds milkshake. my mom bought a big rubbermaid trash can and we cut the bottom off of it and screwed the lid onto it. then cut a hole at the top for my head and a hole for an empty wrapping paper tube for a straw. then i painted the whole thing white and a big yellow M on the front. i couldnt stick my arms out but i had people put the candy down the straw into a bag i had inside it with me. i dont know if it would work for an adult but i know it worked for a teenager of about 12.

Check out the "Karate Kid", Ralph Macchio wears this costume where he is a shower. It has a circular curtain that goes around him, I guess its suspended above him with some kind of rod attached to his back, and it was probably strapped around him. I always thought it was a great costume.
