I don't think it's matter of race, but culture. I've lived in Japan and Korea, and both guys and girls just leave it like it is. They look at me funny when I tell them I do. I know Asian guys in America that DO shave. I think it's mostly just Americans that shave/trim their pubes.

Asian Male Pubic Hair

Obviously all humans are different, but asian people (generally speaking) are not overly hairy in the pubic region. Therefore, they might not have to shave as often as other races.

To be a bit more broad, let's consider the entire body. How many asian men do you see who are covered in hair? Not many. By contrast, some white men are very hairy, and the same goes for some latino men.

Every asian man I know does trim, because it is more attractive and sex partners do appreciate it. But that's in America. I am going to guess it is less common in Asia...

Americanized Asians will probably shave/trim because Western culture beats that into everyone.

Asians from Asia typically don't because it's just not a practice there. The women don't shave their pubic hair either... a little trimmy but other than that it's pretty natural.

Shaving is a western practice point blank.

Culturally, a male is supposed to be the superior. Therefore, again, culturally, they are not required to groom private parts. Therefore, this is not a prevalent practive. I am asian, and I didn't used to shave until I found out how and what to do. Now I do but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Another factor may be the amount of hair growth... some just don't have much hair to fuss about.

If the man is a muslim they should actually shave all body hair apart from a beard that includes chest hair and armpit hair arm hair leg hair the lot this is becasue the hair is known to hold bacteria and they shouldnt be dirty in the eyes of muhammed.
As for shaving pubic hair I know lots of guys that dont shave it. In fact most men I know wouldnt dream of shaving it it itshces like hell. Oh and on one note shaved testicles look like plucked chicken very unattractive. Most guys I know will keep it short and neat so its not too wild. BTW I am caucasian

If you foresee yourself in situations in the near future in which you will be naked in front of others, you may want to think about this for a while. If I were 14 and saw a classmate in the shower at PE, I would certainly wonder about him grooming down there already. Usually at 14, I would think that pubic hair is something to be proud of. You've "waited" your whole life for it - why get rid of it now? Are you planning on doing some naked modeling or what? :-)

I have heard that Asians are on the average somewhat smarter than non-Asians, so maybe they are just too smart to fuss about trying to make themselves look like little boys because of some idiotic fad. If you don't have crabs, you should have hair!

I'm asian and I like to keep the bush trimmed. It gets uncomfortable if it gets too big. I don't think this is a racial or cultural issue.
