I have to love that name......it was my greatgrandmothers name. She lived to the ripe old age of 99. And at 99 right before she died she was still fiesty. I loved that woman!

Sorry, but no. It's actually a cute name, but I know a lot of little female dogs end up getting named Roxy, and it also sounds like a stripper name. It's too bad when cute names get pegged for dogs or strippers.

Short for Roxanne. The last girlfriend my ex screwed in my house, before I kicked his philandering *** out. So, no...I don't like the name. Roxy sounds like she's going to grow up into a biker chick.

Honestly, it sounds like one of the girls in the movie "Grease" although I know it's not. It sounds like someone with an attitude. By writing this, I don't mean to put down anyone's name. The question was asked, and it's my own humble opinion.
Blessings to all.
