people who seem to be perpetually cheerful? I'm talking about those people who walk around fricking humming and grinning like idiots every damn day. Do you automatically distrust them and assume they are up to no good? Or am I just the meanest meanie? ;-)

I never said I wasn't one of those people...
;-) But I think you can be a happy person without being so god-damn obvious about it! LOL

Haha! I'm kinda one of those people! Haha! Are you a happy person? As I've gotten older, I've learned that life is WAY too short to let things get you down...so I try to be perpetually happy..and to overlook the small stuff. When I was younger, I was still kind of the same way though (happy)...and in school some people didn't like me just because they were not happy. Because they were not happy...it irritated them that I was.

I know a girl like that... Always cheerful, the glass is half full type. I offered her twenty bucks to say something bitchy about someone we know, to no avail.
I can only be around her every now and then. The constant cheerfulness is irritating, and it does come off as fake. (Even though she's sincere.) I think there is a fine line between being happy go lucky, and disgustingly sweet and cheerful.

I'm happy for them. I wish I could feel so nice and wonderful all of the time. By the way, using the Lord's name in a cuss word is worse than being a happy camper.

I think they probably get that behavior from their Mom or Dad. They probably had someone in their life who hummed a lot and walked around cheerful and so that is how they learned to act. Sometimes "fake it until you make it" really works. But yes, it's annoying when you're in a bad mood. LOL.

People who dislike others because they're happy are usually jealous for some reason. Perhaps you should look into why you dislike these kind of people so much. What is wrong with being happy?

I wish I was mature enough just to mistrust them, but they just fricking annoy the living hell out of me. I'm not violent usually, but I do envision running them over when I see them. I bet the people that are doing it are thiiiiiiiiiiis close to snapping and killing themselves anyways.

I don't hate them but I think they are fake. People like that will always have something to say behind your back and yeah sometimes they are up to no good. I work with a girl who is like that.

No you're not mean. I feel the same way. Those people who go around and are overly happy and optimistic are just exhausting! There's a difference between being pleasant and being real.
