Before leaving office, Clinton pardoned him and commuted the remainder of his sentence.

Should Bush do the same for Foley?

1) Foley has not, to any of our knowledge, committed an actual crime. Writing emails is not illegal. The age of consent in Washington, DC is 16, the age of said intern.

2) That pedophile is not Clinton's only questionable pardon. He also pardoned drug dealers, murderers, and terrorists. In fact, if one had enough money to donate to said pres's library, a pardon could be purchased for an entire family.

3) I think I get the point of your question, but you really should not convict people of crimes of which they are not even accused. It doesn't help anyone.

Nope. Don`t think Foley has been charged or convicted of sexual abuse or soliciting child pornography. Clinton was wrong then and Bush would be wrong now

No. First of all in order to be pardoned you must first be convicted which has not happened yet. Second of all why would you pardon such a highly publicized offender, Clinton's campaign worker did not resign from the House over his crime.

NO. No man is above the law, even the President. Clinton was a jack*** to begin with, so his failure to enforce the law doesn't surprise me, but Bush, who should act as leader of our nation and not as a Republican, should not pardon Foley.

Why can't republicans ever take responsibility for their own mistakes? They always, always, always have to say well the democrats did this, or the democrats did that. Don't you think it's time to stop blaming Clinton for every mistake Bush makes? If Clinton jumps off a bridge is it alright for Bush to do it.
Come on, it's time for you p*ssies to man up and say "Hey we are able to make a decision on our own without dragging the Dems into it."
Lincoln is rolling over in his grave.
Shame, shame shame

No! Never pardon.

I think pedophiles should be treated like murderes. Put to prison for life!

Stop the child abuse!

It takes a criminal to know a criminal. Bush should probably give them all a blank pardon for whatever they have done. Makes about as much sense as anything George Bush does.

Meanwhile, the rights of the victim are violated so that idiotic partisian politics can get their revenge. Is that what you're trying to say?
