Under the "rules" the only thing that matters is where it stops. You remember or have someone record every letter or statement in the viewing area that it stops on. when it finally stops for good you end it and try to figure out the message or code. Also if it lands on "Good-bye" you stop.

Different spirits create different patters on a Ouija board. Some spirits manifest as a figure 8, other spirits manifest as a circle, and others manifest as an oval. It's just the spirit being in a holding pattern, anticipating your questions.

Its not bad, it just is having problems answering. Perhaps you should make your questions more simple and concentrate more. After all its your subconcious moving the triangle anyways.
Ouiji boards do not have demons in them, nor are they dangerous to smart and strong minded people.
No really, its your subconcious moving those drapes and making the triangle fly across the room. The human mind is wonderful isn't it!

the spirit is having a hard time either understanding your question or having a hard time answering it. The more it gets aggitated the faster the figure 8 goes and if it gets too aggitated it will stop. Or you could stop it by redirecting it with another question.If it moves to "good bye", then put it up. No sense in pissing off the dead!

Contact.....someone or something is using it energy to move the planchette. Start asking questions. If no response (still figure 8) then they are simply messing with you and you need to stop. Or try to simplify the question. Again still no response clean it and put it away.
