geez, they (A's) just won a game & no one is saying anything, except the Twin fans, calling them lucky. Is there any A's fans out there, even if ur hopping on the bandwagon, geez if that was my team I'd be talking a lot of $hit right now, who knows if they'll win another one? TWINS RULE im in minnesota and despite todays loss we are going to beat them in the long run and the only reason we lost today was because they kept santana in for to long. i mean c'mon 7 innings? and we have some awsome hitters. hunter, punto, mauer, castillo. and hunter is the best outfielder in the u.s. and on sports center 7 out of 17 people said the twins would win the world series and none of them said anything about the a's. so there.

I have answered your other question. I suspect that the A's fans are enjoying a few victory drinks.
However, the series is a long way from over yet. Twins fans are deluding themselves if they say that the A's were lucky. My impression was that the A's played better on the day.
For the record, I am an Australian baseball follower and my team is the Yankees due to their history.

I love the A's and grew up in Oakland. I have loved them ever since I was little. I think they have a good chance to do well in the playoffs. But I don't think they will win it all like the 1989 team-they were unstoppable.
