put next to the source a little bowl with white vinegar and some green soap...

spray them with ammonia that will kill them, then get rid of the fruit that is attracting them or keep t in the fridge. Those little critters are annoying and this time of year you want to open the windows but they fit right through the screen.

Clean out the fruit. If you have pets, don't leave wet food out. If you have a rabbit cage, clean it everyday.
While doing that, I put out glasses with a little wine and plastic wrap on top with pin-holes on top. They fall in and can't get out.

Remove all sources of food. Check your house plants. They love to breed in the soil. Spray the plants and the soil. Swat all stragglers.
