Well do you want her for a wife or not? Does she love you? If so, she's probably waiting for you to ask. Look within. You do know the answer.

Wow, what a question. Not sure of your beliefs, but do you think this is the girl that God has in his plan for you? Is she someone you couldn't live without? I've never been in your situation, where you'll be so far apart, but I would think it would be a little easier if she were your girlfriend rather than your wife. You can still get married when you return if you both stil feel the same way. And, most of all, Thanks for serving and protecting us. You should feel proud, and you should know that no matter what kind of crap is being said about the war, we are proud of you and we are grateful. May God bless and protect you.

Well I'm glad you are thinking it over cause I worked for a place that transferred calls from soldiers over seas & wow some women were not so nice. My husband just came home from IRAQ & alot of people had problems with there spouse. I think if she loves you & you love her wait until you come back. I wish I knew how long you've been together cause that can make a diference. Stay safe & hurry home. God Bless you!

Don't make any rash decisions at this time. Remember the saying.."Act in haste, repent in leisure"...Sit down and talk with her. Tell her how you feel about her. If she feels the same way about you, then maybe get engaged. Maybe she'll tell you that she doesn't want to be "tied" while you're away...if that's the case then go do your stint overseas. The less distractions you have while that far away from home will be better for your peace of mind.

Tell her you love her and are thinking about marrying her, but don't want to leave her stranded for a long time while you are in Iraq. Listen carefully to what she says as a response.

Follow your heart and do what you feel is right. But, before you go, I'd be sure to let her know how much you love her. Take care of yourself over there, I wish you the best of luck and a safe return!!! =)

Do you WANT to get married? Does she WANT to get married? Do you want to marry each other? If the answer is yes, then ask her to marry you. If one or more of the answers is a no, then give it more time.
