It sounds like a fever, probably viral. If it were the real flu you'd probably not feel well enough to be at the computer, but all the things you'd do for flu, such as plenty of fluids, vitamin C, aspirin or tylenol for the fever, and extra sleep, are also good for other viral infections. If you don't feel better in a couple of days, do see a doctor, but there is little doctors can do for most flu-like viruses. It's a bit early in the season for actual flu, but there are plenty of cold-type "bugs" that have a lot of the same symptoms.

Hope you feel better soon!

You probably have a touch of the flu.

Drink plenty of liquids and take vitamin C and aspirin. I also strongly believe in taking a hot toddy before bed.

In large glass put one shot of whisky, add juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of sugar or honey. Fill glass with boiling water. Drink as hot as you can then go to bed. The toddy relaxes you and helps you sleep while also making you sweat the germs out.

Good luck
