my vote is Dr.No. i love all of 007 especialy sean connery's. but Dr.No is the best 007.

If I'm choosing between only those two, then I'd say Goldfinger. He had Bond cold ... and stopped.
Other favorites: From Russia With Love, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Man With the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, The Living Daylights.

I liked them both. I have read all the Ian Fleming books and the first 3 movies pretty much kept the flavor of the books. Bond wasn't all good guy, he did have a license to kill and sometimes it wasn't necessary but what the heck. After the first 3 they went off into the ozone. But I pretty much liked them all, not terribly fond of Roger Moore as Bond but I still watched them. My personal favorite book was On Her Majesty's Secret Service but my favorite movie was From Russia with Love.

Both were actually good...I have all the James Bond movies, and I think of the two I liked Dr. No better, even though Goldfinger was very good too.

I disagree with you, Goldfinger was the ultimate Bond movie, it had the gadgets, slick cars, best villain and original name for Pussy Galore. After that, the following series just recylced from this movie formula.(goldfinger).
