Madrid is a cute city with much to do and see. I highly recommend that you purchase Rick Steve's Spain, new or used will do just fine. He is a down-to-earth type of traveler who loves to mingle with the locals and can give you the type of advise that you can use. I have been all over Europe, including Madrid, and his book has been the Bible in Spanish travel and culture.
Amazon.com should be able to give you a good deal on the book which runs about $16. Have a great time.
Mr. M on Madrid.

There is a change among the Carling Cup and the Champions League. Some groups simply do not handle it as a lot. This is Real Madrid, now not a Cup wherein you throw out younsters and batter them five-one million; those are World Class footballers, a few have World Cups below their belts Furthermore, this a Mourinho aspect. I feel the one loss he is ever suffered used to be that a minimum of four pursuits or extra used to be that fit towards Barcelona a couple of months again, under no circumstances does anybody count on this come again to occur. And Real Madrid three years in the past is wholly distinct to Real now. They've invested countless numbers of thousands into the squad to bigger themselves. You're delusional, however all of us must be now and then once we're soccer fanatics, in any other case it would not be any a laugh ;-D
