My car went done in November of last year since then I've been searching for a motor. Will the rotors need to be replace or resurfaced since I see rust on them? Please help, single mom with no help and a limited budget.

+ Tell the truth, are you a gas and go girl? Those engines don't lock up very often and usually not for 10 years or so. After your engine is replaced (due to no oil?) you should stop by Midas muffler and have a free inspection of your car: wheels, brakes, exhaust etc. (I think they call it a 24 point check) You don't have to have anything done if you don't want to and if everything seems to be operating OK, but they can tell you what might need attention soon. The rust on your brakes should come off after about 15 min of using them. so it may not be a problem.

Good Luck

As long as the rotors aren't warped, they should be fine. When you apply the brake the rust will be worn off by the brake pads.

Just apply the brakes a time to wear down the rust before you really get moving again. The rust on the brake rotors should disappear pretty quickly.

Now if you feel pulsating in the brake pedal that is greater than normal while applying the brake you'll need to get the rotors resurfaced or replaced.

besides the actual shown reality that it really is a diesel it does require electric powered potential to run the engine administration equipment, among different issues If the alternator belt snapped and also you probably did no longer some thing about it, then you fairly were operating on a gradually discharging battery which now has no better potential left. right it truly is a particular theory, how about getting someone who's conscious some thing about engines to benefit it?
