Georgie is no more of a homer than you or anyone else on this board. He also started a thread stating that he'd be happy with the Tigers' season regardless of how they fare against the Yankees.
Nobody needs to make excuses for not winning a best-of-five series anyway, because a huge amount of it is based simply on luck. Detroit has had a great season, regardless of what happens in the playoffs.
And for an A's fan to talk about excuses about losing in the playoffs - isn't that a case of the pot calling the kettle black? It's not like your team has done anything - really, anything at all - in the playoffs since 1989.

I dont know, the tigers might have a great chance on beating the yanks,(might, I said might) then if that does happen, will the yankee fans come up with excuses for y they shouldve won but didnt?
