For some reason, I tend to sweat under my arms even when I am not hot. I can just be sitting at my desk at work and all of a sudden, there' a little puddle on my shirt under my arms. I don't mean to sound gross, but it's the truth. I have tried different deodorants and everything. Nothing seems to keep me dry all day. I don't smell or anything.. it's just that my armpits don't stay dry. I am really kinda getting self conscious about it because I have to sing and speak before large crowds at least twice a week. Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so, what did you do to get rid of it?

P.S. It's not puberty... I'm 26.

Have you tried Certain-dri? It did the trick for me, you can't always find it at the store, so you may have to order it online, but it's only about $5. Just be sure to follow the directions and apply it at night.

good luck

Is this a new problem? Some medications can cause excessive sweating. I am on Cymbalta, for example, which causes this problem.

Excessive perspiration can also be a symptom of a thyroid disorder.

I would recommend being evaluated by a physician if this is something new, and it can't be linked to something like medication.

i had the same problem a few years ago, it was soooo embarrasing and i didnt know what to do. so i just told my doctor, she prescribed a medication call Drysol. Its prescription only. but i only needed a few treatments and i dried right up. its about 3 years later and i dont have that problem anymore. Talk to your doctor. They are there to help.

talk to your doctor, there is a nerve in the chest that they can cut to stop this problem forever. It can be dangerous, but also well worth it.
