I'm trying to decide if I should Pick up Chiefs DST (I currently have Bills DST, but they face Chicago in Chicago next week, where Chiefs face Arizona in Arizona), or Pick up WR Berrian Chicago (Right now I have Williams DET, Mason BAL and Cotchery Jets)...

So either need to Pick up a Potentially Promising WR (An Area where I've only done ok in), or a DST to help Bills out (Who have done OK for me, but I don't know about facing the Bears at Home).

Any insight is appreciated.

And in addition to Williams, who should start as my 2nd Wide Reciever, Cotchery, or Mason (or Berrian for those of you who think I should pick him up instead of the Chiefs)

I would take a risk on the Chiefs DST, especially if Dante Hall counts in that equation. If it is a just a defense, they are still vastly improved. They are keeping teams in check, and not giving up 200+ rushing yards like last year. You could use them in spot starts here and there against weaker teams.

Berrian is nice for now, but he's a #2 WR. I'm just not sold on this new look Bears offense. Muhsin Muhammad will get some of the pie, and Thomas Jones is heating up.

I would stand pat, or take a shot on the Chiefs.

Start Cotchery for your second WR. Coles is banged up, and Mason is going to have Champ Bailey draped all over him. Denver hasn't been allowing TDs.

Since I just picked up both Berrian and Cotchery, I have to say that either could be a VERY promising choice. Personally, I'd stick with the Bills Defense, even against Chicago. Sadly for me (as a Pats fan) the Bills are doing OK. Plus, points for WRs can greatly outweight DST points. Since the Bears are at home, I'd go with Berrian and pray for a stellar week. Of course, that would negate the Bills Defense... can you do both?

Get Berrian at WR and trade for a different Defense.

The other part of the equation is what will you have to drop to make either move. I would take my chances with the bills and hope JP doesn't turn the ball over too much and give the bears a short field. I still like berrian but you can't really start him if you go with the bills defense so I would start Cotchery for the reasons that have been stated by others.
