Yes, especially in the first two months. Spotting is just spotting. Bright red blood and the amount in a normal period is a real cause for concern. If you are spotting and much farther along....almost due, you may have passed your plug. But if you are really worried called your doc. They will usually ask a few questions to determine if you need to come in for a check up. Otherwise a little spotting is normal.

Always call your OB -- at any time of day or night -- when your body does something it doesn't normally do, like bleeding during pregnancy. It is up to the doctor to figure out if the blood is from stretching or something more extreme like problems with the placenta. Don't be afraid to call the OB; it's their job.

Yes, it could happen. My friend actually had a very heavy period - to where she couldn't even leave the house. When she went to the doctor for this problem -she found out she was pregnant. All of our bodies respond differently.

I think that if you are even concerned you should always consult you OB.

Good luck!

You can, and i believe it is common although i never did. I think it depends on how far along you are too, but then again, some women have a period all the way through their pregnancy. Maybe talk to your doctor, have a check up and make sure everything is ok.

that can be. Almost any doctor would rather you ask any question you are not sure about. You can never be too sure. My wife accually had her period nearly a month after she conceived. Every woman and every pregnacy are different. Call your doctor with any question. It is always the best thing

Yes...spotting but just keep an eye on the amount of blood lost. Anything greater than a few drops ...consult your physician

Sometime that happens. If it's very light I wouldn't worry about it. If it's heavy and your cramping then you need to see the doctor.
