I can explain - the Majority DIDNT elect the president.

We have an electoral college...representatives are chosen depending upon what the people of the state vote. State population makes up the amount of delegates each state sends. Unfortunately, there is no way to be CERTAIN that your representative actually votes the way his people have asked... Thats how he was elected the first time, and how he was re-elected the second time.

During the first election, there was one state that would cast the deciding vote - the state of Florida. Lo and Behold, this state's Govenor happens to be Jeb Bush, George's brother. There was a scandal about absentee ballots not being counted, as well as scandal about hanging chads (holes not completely punched through on voter cards). So, Jeb announced that George won his state, and GWBush was elected.
In the second election, many many people that would have voted against Bush were *MIRACULOUSLY* unable to get to polling booths while they were open. These included poor people and blacks throughout the nation. Ohio had some pretty messed up issues with voter turn out. So, who wins? You guessed it....

Actually many people in the US feel the Buch adminstration stole the election as there was question to the number of votes cast in FLorida. A state that is governed by Bush's own brother, Jeb. It is unfortuneate but a lot of us don't feel it was a fair election. Right now the US is more closely divided politically than we've ever seen.

The first election was questionable.
But in both elections he DID NOT win by an landslide.
We are talking 51% Bush 49% Kerry.
Is it surprising that people are criticizing him when they found out that there were no WMD's?
The so called liberation of IRAQ was nothing but a photo op.The issue was WMD's, I don't care whether IRAQ is ruled by dictator. They wanna off the dictator they can do it themselves. They seem to be pretty handy with weapons out there.
Democracy in the mideast?
Again, don't care.
The issue was WMD's.

Actually, the majority did not vote for him the first time. Even with the numbers he claims in Florida, he lost the popular election, but won the electoral college.

It looks like he won the popular election in '04, but that only means:
a) he won the popular vote from people who voted in '04 (not everyone can vote aside from minors, etc., and not everyone that could vote chose to)
b) people have realized that they were duped in '04. Bush hasn't accomplished anything other than continuing our failure in Iraq.

Well, actually there is some evidence to dispute your assumption. The first election the majority did not vote for him. He came in second in the popular vote but first in the electoral vote. The second election he did indeed win the popular vote if you accept the Ohio results where a large number of people were not able to vote due to "problems" at some precincts.

first of all, if you research, you will see that the majority did NOT vote for him. I still believe the elections were rigged. there were "lost" votes, "miscounted" votes, and heaps of other problems.

secondly, since he has been in office this time, many lies that he has told have finally come to light, so people are disgusted with him now more than ever. add to that his flat refusal to even consider pulling our young men and women who are dieing daily for a false, mis-informed war, and you have your answer!

He received less than a majority of votes first time.

You can fool all of the people some of the time.
You can fool some of the people all of the time.
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

People are wising up to Bush and his cronies.

I'm not criticizing him.

Intelligence agencies told him there were WMDs, so what was he supposed to do? Ignore it? Then when Saddam sent people over to kill us with them and later our people found out he knew and did nothing, he'd be criticized for that. He can't win.
