You take the amount of cash that you need the money order for to a convience store & tell them that you need a money order. They will charge you a small fee (usually less than a dollar) and print one for you in the amount you requested. You then fill it out and send it to whomever you need to pay.

Money orders are like checks, except they're guaranteed by the issuer to be good.

You can buy them at banks or post offices or (in the U.S.) at most convenience stores. You pay a small service charge, plus the value of the money order.

At your bank or at a loval grocery store or check cashing place. Just ask for a money order, you'll need the cash and they will print out the order.

1. Go to a bank, the post office, or Western Union.
2. Buy a money order.
3. Send it to the person you want to pay.

Go to the Post Office or Safeway or 7'11. You can only buy a money order with cash though.
