I'm asking this again because I want to add details..Is it normal to see your boyfriend only on the weekends when he lives 15 minutes away?? Do many couples do this?? He calls me like 5 times a day during the week and he works everyday...he also focuses on his recovery, he goes to AA meetings at night

yes it is normal...he has got alot to do.but you could meet in the evenings from time to time during the week...

Well, I don't know that I'd call it normal, but who's to say what's normal? It sounds like maybe he has some more pressing things to deal with in his life. AA meetings arent every night though, are they? When I was dating my husband, he lived about 20 minutes away and we saw each other every day. It was just a matter of wanting to spend time with the other person.

it's normal. my bf lives in tx, i live in cali. we don't even get to see each other except on special occassions: birthday, holiday, & anniversary.. =) as long as we love & TRUST each other, distance can't seperate us.. good luck!
