Yes, they always improve as the season goes. They will show up to play the Chargers. I look for them to make the playoffs, but Baltimore will probably get the division. The Bungals have gone back to their old ways, can't stop the run and can't protect poor Palmer.

There have been some changes in the offseason, including the things that Big Ben has gone through.
He's good, very good, but he's still a young QB and he's still learning. I have a feeling better play will come when he gets healthy and everyone gets on the same page.
I disagree with the people who are calling for him to be benched and start Batch. That's a mistake. Batch had a good game in week 1, that's true, but what has he done before? Honestly I'm surprised they kept him and cut Maddox.
It sickened me how quickly fans forgot how much Tommy Maddox did for the Steelers before Roethlisberger showed up. The way he was treated made me ashamed to be a Steelers fan.
Benching Roethlisberger isn't the thing to do, he just needs to work out the kinks in his system and get back into his zone.

There is a whole lot of football left in the season. Obviously for the steelers it wasnt the start they were looking for, but they only have two losses. Baltimore will not keep up what they are doing right now and Cincy proved that they can be beaten. Pittsburgh had a real chance to beat them but those costly turnovers on the kickoff, and next play from scrimmage sealed the deal. Keep the faith steeler fans. Last year should prove that you should not count these guys out too early.

Awe man we will be fine, Ben Is a very slow starter. We also have two brand new recievers in the line up that aren't always on the same page as Ben. It's gonna take some time but I feel like we will prove alot of the would be doubters wrong this season and make it back to the playoffs. I am pretty excited for the rest of this season.

As a die hard Steelers fan (8 years with Mark Malone, another 4 with Kordell Stewart) I would have to say, not this year. Unless Bill puts ole Chuckie Batch in when Ben can't hit a wide open Hines Ward.

Not this week, chargers will be too much for them and Big Benny will be rustier than ever after another week off, as a matter of fact I figure they will probably finish third in their division.
