I try to.
I can't stand it when i'm not outside when it's raining.
I have to be outside for at least ten minutes or something.
I love the way it feels against my face and when my clothes are soaked.
I'm so wierd but my favorite memory ever in my whole entire life that has not changed since it's happened is this:
I was visiting my mom in Mauritius (an island close to Madagascar) and it was raining. But it was still hot. And she lived right by the ocean. The ocean was right in front of her house. The sun was setting and everything was beautiful. The colours were magnificent. Red, yellow, gold all blended in together with the greyness of the sky and the complete beauty of the ocean. Anyway, i was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and i just couldn't resist. I dove in, clothes on. It was exhilarating and wonderful and completely... liberating. I felt more free in those few minutes than i ever have in my whole entire life.
If i could relive that... the rain against my face and arms, the brilliant array of colours, and the ocean. I would in a heartbeat. I'd kill to have that moment back.
And this summer we had a lot of thunderstorms. I remember this one that happened at night. I loved it. I could see the lightning and then i would hear the thunder. I got the most wonderful type of goosebumps :)

No, I don't get wet in a thunderstorm. If it's thundering and lightening, I'm inside calming down my dogs, or sitting on the covered deck enjoying the show.
