i've just gone through changes in my life and realized lots of things, for a while I felt like a zombie pretty much just very disoriented and not myself.. lately though I'm starting to come to though except I'm sleeping sssssooo much and having intense dreams! I mean intense because I wake up and am confused, and I have sooo many of them... They're usually harmless and about random people and things in my life. I have them even inbetween hitting snooze! my doctor said this is good.. my brain is trying to process everything. I've never experienced this before. is that true?? I hope it ends soon I can't keep skipping class to sleep :)

Yes thats whats happening.....you have to not hit snooze though....turn up the radio really loud and get your butt to class, you can process at night!

You can keep a dream journal if you like, kind of interesting to look back on them.

You're just remembering more of your dreams than normal. Mood changes, stress and depression affect memory. When you dream, only your short term memory is used (to process visuals and continue on a plot that your brain is chrning out) and you forget your dreams quickly after waking. If you're kind of depressed, you're even less likely to remember these dreams.

Also, you're most likely to remember dreams when you wake up in the middle of them (during the deepest stage of sleep). Of course, when you wake up in the middle of a nice, deep sleep that's filled with visuals and feelings, you're still groggy and in the process of really waking up. Hitting the snooze button and going back to bed helps you get back to that state faster.

It's true, you have a lot to think about and are experiencing a better, healthier sleep cycle. Don't worry about it, it's normal.

You're thinking of this the wrong way round. You don't dream to process anything, the reason that you are dreaming as much is that you are thinking about things too much when you go to bed and this is causing you to toss and turn and wake up from time to time. Dreams only occur when you are between the state of sleep and awake, therefor if you are waking up alot when you are trying to sleep it is inevitable a dream will be attatched to each wakening. Best advice I can give is try to be as relaxed as possible when going to bed and don't eat or drink any brain stimulants before bed, cheese and caffeine products are definate out of bounds.

Possibly. You may be over stressed. Try some rest and relaxation excercises before bed.
