We're not going to run out. The amount of water on the earth is the same amount that has always been on earth. It may be in different forms, but the level of water never ever changes.

1. Water is a limited resource, a big percentage is already polluted.
2. Life would cease to exist. The human body alone is made up of approximately 70-85 percent water. Plants (including cacti (plural for cactus)) and animals need water to survive too.
3. Wasting water would limit the supply for others. For instance in a high-rise building during power failure. If the residents in the lower levels waste water, the water pressure would be too low for water to reach the upper levels of the building.

If we run out of water, The Earth will be emptied by all the living things because every living thing needs water. If any source that we need to survive is emptied then there is lost of balance in the nature and life. Everything goes away without water because it's the most important source to survive.

Our bodies are like, 70% water? Something like that. So if we didn't have water, we would all dehydrate and die. Plus, we'd have no weather (no atmosphere, no clouds, no precipitation, no ocean or lakes or rivers or streams) and the air would kill us with no influences of weather. Plus, water is too hard to make synthetically--by the time we set up a water-creating plant to make it out of hydrogen and oxygen, we'd be dead. And we'd kill the whole ecosystem.
Plus, it's just greedy and wrong. It's a resource like dirt and minerals and air and it's limited and once it's gone, we won't know what to do. We shouldn't create problems that we have no idea how to fix--humans have never lived without water, and we should concentrate on maintaining the balance of the environment instead of seeing how bad we can make things and still survive.

Because at any given time there is some place on Earth that is having a dry spell.
Because every person in America consuimes an average of 80 gallons of water a day, and that is way to much.
Because when you run out of water, you won't be able to flush your toilet.

We never will because it keeps getting recycled. If there were no more water, we'd all die. Can't live without water. We are 75%water. According to the Bible there will be so called 'end times' but I don't think it involves running out of water.

The reason for your question is to discover if you understand the importance of water in the cycle of life. You can discuss the importance of the oceans to our atmosphere. You can mention the fact that all creatures need water for basic survival. You can also discuss the amount of water on our planet and how the loss of that would alter our world more than it could survive.
